Yorkshire is steeped in History, and has been around under one name and another for more than 2000 years and is heralded as one of the most picturesque counties in Britain. Consisting of a 1000 square miles, stretching from the East coast to within 30 miles of the West coast, and from Durham and the Cumbrian borders in the north of the county to the Derbyshire and Nottingham borders in the south of the county.

There are four National Parks in thecounty: The Dales, The North York Moors,
The Wolds and The Peak District.

There are attractions such as: Emmerdale Country, Last of the Summer Wine Country, All Creatures Great and Small Country, and of course Heartbeat Country.

This dramatic Gothic Minster, one of Europe’s finest,dominates this Beautiful City. If you intend to stay or to just visit York then the Minster is a must to view.
